The kids love this light-up floor!
We got to play a game in which the healthiest eater wins! Eddie was pretty good.
Blondies eating lunch. On the left is Annie Walker, Rosie obviously, then Emery Carter on the right. All in our ward and in our home school co-op.
For some reason, this is my favorite photo of the day.
I love the port in the background. And the kids in the foreground.
Br. Carter was helping the girls reach the sting rays.
Eddie and his new best pal, Austin Carter. They found a baby alligator.
Rex and Wesley Carter.
I loooove when the do the baby squat.
More baby squat!
The day started out with every animal being a "doggie!". But by the end of the day, the fish were "ish". He's learning so many new words!
This room was amazing...it had at least 16 projectors that were seamless...I was just as fascinated as the children. The floor was interactive too- you could step on the eels and they would jump away.
There were rubber logs you could move around.
When the sun went down, nighttime wildlife emerged, and they gave the kids "flashlights" that they could light up the darkness with to see the nocturnal animals.
This was in the Design Room. Rex literally stood here for a solid hour playing with these stick and holes.
Eddie and Rosie got to experiment with their various designs for a "claw", going back to the drawing board when the design needed tweaking.
Rosie's claw was very successful!
The evolution of the toaster...the most important appliance in the kitchen, says this bread girl.
Keva planks! These are so much fun when you play with other people- everyone inspires each other.
Br. Carter helped the kids get started.
Eddie made a cool sloped platform.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm totally fascinated by the invention of the pulley. How smart!
This was kinda cool. You pull the ball back and then try to let it fall and break the glass panel. There was a counter on it that said it had been done over 500,000 times without breaking. This whole room was about glass and what kinds break and how and why and which kinds don't.
Different textures to touch. Rex loved the fluffy one best, of course.
Found you, Mommy!
This sand box was cool. The "rainbow sand", as Rosie called it, had a projector pointing down onto it, and the topographical colors changed instantly depending on the height of the sand hills you made. She played at this for a looooong time.
Rex loved all the aquariums.
The kids got to touch star fish and sea urchins.
Learning about over-fishing.
The upward view of the aquarium was really cool.
And of course, we had to come back to the light-up dance floor.
